Traditional golden hour will always produce amazing images. I love when people appear drenched in sunlight, having it shine through hair and fingertips. However, I manifested a couple who would want to do something different. I marketed on my socials about wanting to do a moonlit engagement session and had the privilege of meeting Bethany and Logan.
We timed the session perfectly to get the best of both worlds; golden hour bliss and moody, romantic blue hour. Dare I say that I feel blue hour is much more romantic. Lovers come alive when the sun goes down. Blue hour gives the feeling of being young and alive. You cannot look at the sun, but looking at the moon is a shared experience, an intimate one. She offers a warmth in your heart when someone says "look at the moon!" and you experience her beauty together. Lovers always look at the moon. And the moon and the ocean are a perfect pair.
