Inspired by the rich colors of Mexican culture, from painted walls to textiles, this photographic series uses color to evoke memory and unseen energies. With their eyes closed, the women appear immersed in private ceremonies with themselves and Mother Earth. One presses her hands into the sand, grounding herself in the earth, while another reaches toward the moon, listening to the wind. These quiet moments reflect a personal journey of reconnection through the natural world. A pink and green doorway symbolizes the passage from girlhood into womanhood, marking a new relationship with the self and ancestral roots. Together, these images invite reflection on feminine energy and the wisdom held within our connection to the earth.
