The perfect impromptu proposal spot!
Days leading up to Lina and Kirsten's engagement, the Pacific decided to erode much of the California coast. Lina originally was hoping for a proposal at Point Dume, however, mother nature had other plans. We quickly realized that the state park had suddenly closed much of it's beach creating a last minute location change.
I headed up towards Zuma Beach and found this little nook near the lagoon.
To the everyday eye, it seems easy to walk right past it, but the foliage backdrop really caught my attention. It produced a unique opportunity for the illusion of two locations. To the East, the lush landscape, and to the West, the ocean waves crashing.
It was quiet, private, and just perfect. I sent the pin and got to witness Lina and Kirsten profess their love and confidently walk into to their new fiancée era together. I had so much fun photographing their special day.
